"...I cannot remember when I was not interested in writing.  As a child
and teenager, I had many penpals to whom I wrote regularly, thanks to
a father who never seemed to be able to stay in one place more than a
couple of years at a time. As I grew to young adulthood, several
courtships progressed and ebbed through the U.S. Mail. Later, I was
able to express my tributes and criticisms through the Letters to the
Editor column of the local newspaper and through an amateur attempt
at a local community 4-H newsletter.  I have always loved to weave my
thoughts, dreams, fears and concerns into words that others can easily
understand and to which they can relate..."
